The main purpose

Verification and determination of manganese, used as an oxidant. bleach. Photographic reducing agent and blocker. Battery depolarizer. Used in the preparation of soluble starch.

It is used as the initiator for the emulsion polymerization of vinyl monomers such as vinyl acetate and acrylate. It is cheap and the obtained emulsion has better water resistance. It is also used as a curing agent for urea-formaldehyde resin with the fastest curing speed. It is also used as a co-oxidant for starch adhesives and reacts with the protein in starch components to improve adhesion. The reference dosage is 0.2% to 0.4% of starch. Also used as a surface treatment agent for metallic copper.

In the chemical industry, it is used as a raw material for the production of persulfate and hydrogen peroxide, as a co-polymerization agent in the polymerization of organic polymers, and an initiator in the polymerization of vinyl chloride monomers. Used as bleaching agent in oil and soap industry. It is also used as corrosive agent during metal plate etching and oil extraction in petroleum industry. Food grade is used as wheat modifier and brewer's yeast anti-mold agent.
