Application field

1. Used to synthesize ethyl vanillin. The chemical name is 4-hydroxy-3-ethoxybenzaldehyde. It has a floral scent, and the scent intensity is 3 to 4 times that of vanillin. It is often used as food flavor, perfume flavor and soap flavor. In the process of preparing vanillin from safrole as raw material, ethyl vanillin is obtained by replacing dimethyl sulfate with diethyl sulfate.
