Product Usage

It is mainly used for the production of anion-effect exchange resins, as well as solvents and special fuels. Its solubility is stronger than ether and acetone, and methanol and azeotropic mixture can dissolve nitrocellulose with high nitrogen content. However, due to its strong anesthetic properties, its vapor is not suitable for use as a general solvent. It is usually used as a solvent for special sonication. It is also used in perfume manufacturing and production of artificial resins, as the reaction medium of Grignard reaction and Rapa (synthesis) reaction.
