Product Usage
Use 1: Hexachloroethane is used as a lubricant additive.
Use 2: Hexachloroethane is used as a solvent and used in the production of Freon-113, pesticides, medicines, veterinary drugs, smoke generators, defoamers, deaerators and deoxidizers for aluminum products (aluminum, magnesium, copper and its Alloy), cutting oil additives, PVC plasticizers, organic synthesis intermediates. Hexachloroethane can be used as a smoke generator when mixed with zinc powder, ammonium chloride, ammonium perchlorate, etc. in proportion. Hexachloroethane is also used as a substitute for camphor and a rubber vulcanization accelerator. Hexachloroethane itself is also a veterinary insect repellent. Mainly used for ruminant animal liver and stomach leech disease, other testis and nematode diseases.
Use 3: Solvent, preservative.
Use 4: Used as a raw material for organic synthesis and a degassing agent for aluminum and its alloys.
