The main purpose

(1) It can be used as an analytical reagent and also used in the pharmaceutical industry to prepare preservatives and sleeping pills. Used as a solvent for dyes, various rubbers, special printing inks, oils, natural resins, etc., as a co-solvent for nitrocellulose, and also used in the manufacture of plasticizers, synthetic lubricants, perfumes, medicines, etc.

(2) N-hexanol has been widely used in the formulation of flavors 50 years ago. It is both an ingredient and a solvent in the formulation of various flavors. Mainly used to prepare coconut and berry flavors. Usually 0.22～18mg/kg for food flavor. Used as soap flavor, detergent flavor, perfume flavor, cream flavor, etc.
