use

1. It is an important raw material for synthetic fragrances, such as γ-laurolactone (also called peach aldehyde), polycyclopentalactone, muscone, nonanal, etc. It can also be used in antifungal drugs and drugs for the treatment of dermatomycosis. It can also synthesize antibacterial surfactants such as sodium undecene monoethanolamide succinate sulfonate. It can also be used to prepare plasticizers.
